Rhodes and Beckett, the shirt store, had a campaign last year where I paid more attention to the background landscape than the clothing. This campaign was shot in Wanaka, New Zealand and both Alan and I were so amazed at these photos that we agreed to visit Wanaka on our New Zealand holiday. Here's a taste of the photos (unfortunately I cannot find the whole set).

It_is worth waking up early to catch the sunrise over Queenstown's Lake Wakatipu. You may be able to enjoy the light show from your hotel bedroom, as I did. Otherwise, you can rug up, pick up the camera and venture outside to a viewing spot alongside the lake or on a hillside. By six, the best of the sunrise will have disappeared, however, as you are already awake, you can start the day early and if you so wish, be first in line to the hot buffet breakfast!

Like_a lot of people, I try my best to be healthy; I eat well, go to sleep early, sit in the sun for vitamin D and incorporate exercise into each day, whether it be running away from swooping magpies or going for a walk (I'm absorbing vitamin D and doing some yard work in the photo above:)). Yet, I use moisturisers, conditioners etc that are full of chemicals, numbers and things I have never heard of. I realised that does not make sense. So, I have been trying out some natural products. Here's how I've been going.

Probably the last post in relation to the 500km trip to Wagga Wagga for a meat pie. In this post, we visit the Old School House Cafe in Young, only 400km from central Sydney. The cafe is located in one of the classrooms of the old Young Primary School which was built in 1883. The school cafe is complete with blackboard, bell and friendly, smiling, welcoming owner, Sally Carson.
